Pic Safe (referred to as "we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Pic Safe mobile application (the "App"), which is designed as a local photo vault for secure storage of your private media.

1. Core Principle: Local-Only Data Storage

IMPORTANT: All data stored in Pic Safe (including photos, videos, and captured intruder images) is saved exclusively on your device. We do NOT:

• Upload your private media to cloud servers or our databases
• Transmit your vault data to any third-party servers
• Access or view any content you store in the App

Note: Deleting the App will permanently remove all data stored in it. We recommend exporting important files before uninstalling Pic Safe.

2. Information We May Access (Local Only)

We collect no personal data that leaves your device. The App only accesses the following information for core functionality, all processed locally:

• Biometric Data (Face ID/Touch ID): Authentication is managed entirely by your device's operating system (iOS/Android). We do not store or access your biometric information.
• Camera Access: Used solely for the "Intruder Photo Capture" feature (photos taken when wrong PIN is entered). All captured images are stored locally in the App and never shared.
• Photo Library Access: Required to import/export photos/videos between the App and your device's gallery (only with your explicit permission).
• Anonymous Technical Data: We may collect non-identifiable data (e.g., device model, OS version) locally to improve App stability (no data is sent to external servers).

3. Third-Party Integration

The App integrates with the following third-party services, which follow their own privacy policies:

• App Store / Google Play: For payment processing (if applicable) and App distribution (no access to your vault data).
• System-Level Frameworks: For PIN/biometric authentication (managed by your device's OS, no data shared with us).

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard AES-256 encryption to protect files stored in the App on your device. However, you are responsible for keeping your PIN code confidential—we cannot recover lost PINs or data stored locally on your device.

5. Your Rights Over Your Data

Since all data is stored locally, you have full control:

• Access, edit, or delete your data at any time via the App interface
• Revoke App permissions (e.g., photo library access) in your device settings
• Uninstall the App to remove all associated data from your device

6. Children's Privacy

Pic Safe is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you are a parent/guardian and believe your child has used the App, please contact us to address any concerns.
