Welcome to Pic Safe: Private Vault (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App.

1. App Usage Rules

Pic Safe provides a secure local storage environment for managing your private photos, videos, and other media files. You are solely responsible for:

• All activities conducted through your use of the App
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your PIN code or biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID)
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations when using the App

2. Local Data Responsibility & Risk

CRITICAL NOTICE: ALL DATA IS STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE ONLY.

• We do not store, backup, or sync your data to any remote servers or cloud storage.
• We are NOT liable for any data loss resulting from: App uninstallation, device damage/loss, operating system updates, forgotten PIN codes, or device factory resets.
• You are strongly advised to regularly export and backup your data using the App's "Export" feature or your device's system backup tools.

3. Pro Version & Payments

Certain premium features (e.g., AES-256 file encryption, intruder photo capture) require a one-time "Lifetime Pro" purchase. All payments are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store:

• We do not collect, store, or process your payment information (e.g., credit card details) directly.
• Pro version access is tied to your App Store/Google Play account.
• Refund requests are subject to the refund policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App for any illegal, unethical, or unauthorized purposes, including but not limited to:

• Storing content that violates local, national, or international laws (e.g., copyrighted material, explicit/illegal content).
• Attempting to hack, modify, or reverse-engineer the App's code or bypass security features.
• Using the App to infringe on the privacy or rights of third parties.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The App (including all source code, UI/UX design, logos, and brand assets) is the exclusive intellectual property of the Pic Safe Team. You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without written permission.
• Use the App's brand assets (e.g., logo, name) for commercial purposes or unauthorized promotion.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a specific purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the App.
• That the App will meet all your specific requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Pic Safe Team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising from your use of the App.

8. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the App (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, and all local data remains on your device (subject to your responsibility for backup).

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
