These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ContactAudit (the "App") offered through the Apple App Store by ContactAudit Team. By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms are between you and ContactAudit Team, not Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the App. Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Subject to these Terms and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA), we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for personal use and as permitted by Apple's Usage Rules.
ContactAudit helps identify duplicate and incomplete contacts, create vCard backups, and apply merge, delete, or restore actions that you approve. You are responsible for reviewing all suggested changes before applying them. The App is designed to save a restorable backup before certain cleanup operations, but you remain responsible for confirming that the backup and proposed changes are appropriate for your address book.
The App may offer a one-time ContactAudit Pro purchase through Apple's in-app purchase system. Prices are displayed in the App Store purchase sheet before purchase. Payment, refunds, family sharing eligibility, transaction records, and purchase restoration are handled by Apple under Apple's terms and policies. You can manage purchases through your Apple ID and App Store account settings.
The App does not currently implement an auto-renewable subscription in the inspected codebase. If a future version adds subscriptions, subscription-specific renewal, cancellation, and billing terms will be presented through Apple and reflected in updated terms.
The App is a contact management utility, not a professional data recovery, compliance, legal, or business-record management service. Duplicate detection, incomplete-contact detection, merge suggestions, and restore plans may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should review results carefully before changing or deleting contacts.
You retain rights and responsibilities for the contacts, names, phone numbers, email addresses, backup titles, and other information you choose to process with the App. You represent that you have the right to store, process, modify, back up, export, or restore that information using the App. Additional content rules are described in our User Content & Acceptable Use Policy.
You agree not to misuse the App, including by violating law or third-party rights, attempting to bypass security controls, reverse engineering the App except as permitted by law, using the App to store or distribute unlawful data, or interfering with Apple services or App Store purchase systems.
The App relies on services provided by Apple and Google, including Contacts, iCloud, StoreKit, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics. Availability, processing, and operation of those services are subject to the applicable provider's terms and policies. Product analytics, purchase-flow events, crash reports, and technical diagnostics are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not control third-party service interruptions or changes.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the App. We may also update these Terms. The effective date above indicates the latest version. Your continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CONTACT DETECTION, BACKUP, RESTORE, MERGE, DELETE, PURCHASE, ICLOUD, OR EXPORT FEATURES WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PARTICULAR NEEDS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONTACTAUDIT TEAM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, CONTACTS, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP OR IN-APP PURCHASE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE U.S. DOLLAR (US$1), IF YOU DID NOT PAY ANY AMOUNT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY ONLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold ContactAudit Team harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
We may suspend or terminate your license to use the App if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using and delete the App at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the developer entity identified on the App Store, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
