This Privacy Policy explains how WorkProofCam (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the iOS application. WorkProofCam is operated by the WorkProofCam Team. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
WorkProofCam is an iPhone-first job proof camera and PDF report tool. The App is designed to keep jobs, photos, notes, and reports local to your device. The App does not require an account, does not provide cloud sync, does not use advertising SDKs, and does not intentionally send your job records to our servers.
The App stores job records locally using Apple on-device storage. This may include:
When you use the camera, the App captures proof photos and stores JPEG image files in the App’s private Application Support directory on your device. These photos are used to show job records and generate PDF reports.
If you grant location permission, the App may attach GPS coordinates and best-effort reverse-geocoded address details to proof photos and reports. Location access is requested through iOS and is used for job documentation features. If permission is denied or unavailable, you can still capture photos without GPS metadata.
The App requests camera access to capture proof photos. Camera access is controlled by iOS Settings.
The App generates PDF reports from local job, photo, note, timestamp, address, and coordinate data. When you export or share a report, you choose the destination, such as Mail, Files, AirDrop, or another app. WorkProofCam does not upload reports to its own server.
The App may offer a Pro purchase through Apple’s StoreKit framework, including the product identifier com.luoyi.workproofcam.pro. Purchases, billing, refunds, transaction verification, and subscription or purchase management are handled by Apple. We receive only the purchase status needed to unlock App features on your device.
Job records and photos remain on your device until you delete them in the App, reset relevant settings, or remove the App, subject to iOS backup and restore behavior. Temporary PDF files may be created during export. Apple device backups, iCloud Backup, and device-level retention are controlled by Apple and your device settings.
The App as currently implemented does not create user accounts, does not operate cloud storage for job records, does not include third-party analytics SDKs, and does not include advertising SDKs. Apple may provide aggregated App Store analytics, crash information, or purchase reporting to developers through Apple systems; those are governed by Apple’s policies and your device settings.
The App relies on Apple platform services including AVFoundation, CoreLocation, reverse geocoding, SwiftData, UIKit PDF rendering, StoreKit, and standard iOS sharing surfaces. Your use of Apple services is also subject to Apple’s terms and privacy practices.
We rely on Apple’s platform security controls for on-device data. No storage method is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your device with appropriate safeguards such as a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, device backups, and trusted sharing choices.
The App is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own servers. If you believe a child has provided information in a way that concerns you, contact us.
Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights such as access, deletion, correction, or objection to certain processing. Because the App is designed around local device storage, many requests can be addressed directly on your device. For requests directed to us, contact us using the information below.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App or legal requirements. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires otherwise.
For privacy questions or requests, email the WorkProofCam Team at luoyi9932@gmail.com. You may also use support options on the App’s App Store product page.
