Privacy Policy

Effective date: · App: App Store Screenshot Studio

This Privacy Policy describes how AppScreenShot team (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the mobile application App Store Screenshot Studio (the “App”). It is intended to meet common expectations for App Store distribution, including transparency aligned with Apple’s App Review Guidelines and privacy labeling practices.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the App on iOS/iPadOS. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that we do not operate.

2. Information we do not collect on our servers

The App is designed to help you compose and export App Store-style screenshots using templates and images you choose. We do not operate a user account system in the App for the core features described above, and we do not require you to upload your photos or exported images to our servers for those features. Processing needed to render and export screenshots occurs on your device, subject to the permissions you grant.

3. Information processed on your device

4. Purchases and Apple

If the App offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, payment and related transaction information are processed by Apple as described in Apple’s terms and privacy notices. We do not receive your full payment card details from Apple. We may receive limited purchase-related information from Apple that is necessary to validate entitlements (for example, subscription status), as permitted by Apple’s systems.

5. Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Unless we notify you otherwise in the App or in an updated policy, we do not use third-party advertising SDKs in the App and we do not sell your personal information. If we introduce analytics or similar technologies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, App Store privacy details and consent flows.

6. Legal bases and retention (EEA, UK, and similar regions)

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract (providing the App), legitimate interests (security and product improvement compatible with your rights), and consent where required. We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described or as required by law. Information that stays only on your device is under your control (for example, you may delete exported items from Photos or Files).

7. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children for targeted marketing. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us using the details on the Contact page.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information in systems we control. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. International users

If you use the App from outside the country where we operate, your information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate, subject to applicable law.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal information, or to object or port data. To exercise rights, contact us at the email on the Contact page. You may also use Apple’s platform features where available.

11. California residents (CCPA/CPRA summary)

California residents may have additional rights regarding personal information under California law, including rights to know, delete, and opt out of certain “sales” or “sharing” (we do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA in the manner described in this policy). Contact us to submit a request.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at this URL and update the effective date above. Material changes may be communicated through the App or App Store listing where appropriate.
