This User Content & Acceptable Use Policy ("Content Policy") explains rules for content you enter, scan, store, or choose to display in UseSoon ("the App"). It supplements our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
"User content" includes food names, custom storage locations, selected or captured images, expiration dates, quantities, estimated values, reminder settings, and any other information you enter or confirm in the App. You are responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the rights to use it.
Depending on your settings and iOS permissions, your content may appear in:
These displays occur on your device through iOS. You should consider device visibility, notification previews, and shared-device situations before saving content that others should not see.
You agree not to use the App to create, store, scan, or manage content that:
The App does not provide a public feed, social profile, or user-to-user content sharing service as a core feature. Content you enter is intended for your personal on-device use. We do not routinely monitor private local food records.
UseSoon can help organize dates, but it cannot determine whether food is safe to consume. OCR, reminders, and date calculations may be wrong or incomplete. Always rely on product labels, storage instructions, recalls, appearance, smell, and qualified guidance when making food safety decisions.
You retain rights to your user content. Our name, branding, design, and software are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App except as allowed by law or by these Terms.
We may update this Content Policy to reflect product or legal changes. The effective date above indicates the latest version.
Questions about this policy may be emailed to the UseSoon Team at luoyi9932@gmail.com. You may also use the support options on the App's App Store product page.
