Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Remove Silence Video Team ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use Remove Silence Video (the "App"). The App helps you import a video, detect silent pauses, create a shorter edited result, and save or share the result.
Local processing. The current App does not require an account, does not use a developer-operated backend for video processing, and does not upload your video or audio files to our servers.
1. Information Processed On Your Device
- Videos you choose: The App processes only videos that you select through the iOS Photos picker or compatible system import flow.
- Audio analysis: The App uses on-device audio and video frameworks to identify silent sections and build a shorter output video.
- Temporary files: Imported and exported video files may be copied to the App's temporary storage while processing is running. Temporary files may be removed by the App or by iOS storage management.
- Export entitlement state: The App stores local information in UserDefaults to track whether the one free export has been used.
- Purchase entitlement state: The App checks StoreKit transaction entitlements to determine whether the lifetime unlock is active.
2. Photos Access
The App requests access to import a video you choose and to save an exported result to your photo library when you ask it to do so. The App does not scan your entire photo library or automatically import videos without your action.
3. Purchases
The App offers a non-consumable lifetime unlock for unlimited exports. Purchases, payment processing, receipts, refunds, and purchase restoration are handled by Apple through StoreKit and your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
4. Analytics and Crash Diagnostics
The App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand purchase conversion flow and app stability. Analytics events are limited to non-personal app and purchase flow events such as app open, result generation success, export success, export limit reached, paywall viewed, product loading result, purchase started, purchase completed, purchase cancelled, purchase pending, purchase failed, restore started, restore completed, and restore failed.
Crash diagnostics may include technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, build number, crash stack traces, and whether lifetime unlock was active. These diagnostics help us investigate stability issues.
We do not send video files, audio content, imported file names, file paths, user-entered content, payment card details, StoreKit transaction identifiers, precise location, or contact lists to Firebase. The App does not use IDFA, does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt, disables Google Ads on-device conversion event data, and does not use Firebase data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
5. Information We Do Not Collect
The current implementation does not collect account registration data, contact lists, precise location, advertising identifiers, payment card numbers, or your video and audio files on our servers. The App does not include third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking.
6. Apple and System Services
When you use iOS Photos, StoreKit, Share Sheet, App Store purchase restoration, or other Apple system services, Apple may process information under Apple's own terms and privacy policies.
7. Retention and Deletion
Temporary imported and exported video files are used for processing and export workflows. The free export counter remains on your device until app data is deleted or reset by iOS. Firebase analytics and crash diagnostic data are retained according to Firebase and Google service settings. Because the App is local-first, we generally cannot access, restore, or delete data that exists only on your device.
8. Security
The App uses Apple's app sandbox and system permission prompts to limit access to your media. No app or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for controlling access to your device and reviewing exported videos before saving or sharing them.
9. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in your region. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through developer-operated servers for this App.
10. Regional Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights such as access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction, or withdrawal of consent. For information stored only on your device, use the App and iOS controls to manage or delete it. You may contact us for privacy questions using the email below.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App changes or legal requirements evolve. The updated version will be posted at this page with a new effective date.
