VehicleLog Team operates VehicleLog, a local-first vehicle maintenance log for iPhone. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.
Data Stored on Your Device
VehicleLog lets you create vehicle profiles, maintenance records, reminders, notes, mileage, cost entries, vendor names, and optional receipt photos. This information is stored locally on your device using Apple-provided storage technologies.
No Account or Backend Server
VehicleLog does not require an account and does not operate a backend server for your vehicle data. We do not upload your vehicle profiles, service records, notes, mileage, costs, or receipt attachments to our servers.
Photos and Attachments
If you choose to attach receipt photos, VehicleLog reads only the photos you select through Apple's photo picker and stores copies inside the app's local container. You can remove records and attachments from the app.
Notifications
VehicleLog may ask permission to send local notifications for maintenance reminders you create. Notification content may include the vehicle name and service type so the reminder is useful. These notifications are scheduled on your device.
Purchases
VehicleLog Pro is sold through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes purchases, refunds, and purchase history. VehicleLog checks App Store entitlement status to unlock Pro features, but we do not receive your payment card details.
Data Sharing
VehicleLog does not sell your personal information. The app may use Apple system services such as StoreKit, local notifications, Photos picker, and share sheets as part of normal app functionality.
Retention and Deletion
Your app data remains on your device unless you delete it, export it, or remove the app. Deleting the app may remove local VehicleLog data from that device, subject to iOS behavior and backups you control.
Children
VehicleLog is not directed to children under 13. The app is intended for users who manage personal vehicles or equipment maintenance records.
Changes
We may update this policy as VehicleLog changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
