User Content & Acceptable Use Policy
This User Content & Acceptable Use Policy ("Content Policy") explains rules for photos, project data, generated bead patterns, and exported files that you create or process in BeadCraft Local (the "App"). It supplements our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Important: The App is designed for local craft planning and does not provide a public feed or public user profile. You control the photos you import and the files you export. Avoid importing or sharing sensitive, private, or copyrighted images unless you have the right and a clear reason to do so.
1. Your content
"User content" includes photos you select, project names, generated bead grids, edited pattern cells, progress state, material lists, and PDF exports. You are responsible for your user content and for ensuring that you have the rights needed to import, process, save, export, and share it.
2. Where content may appear
Depending on the features you use, your content may appear in:
- the App's project list, generator, pattern canvas, material list, and progress views;
- local project files stored in the App's container on your device;
- temporary PDF export files created when you choose to export;
- third-party destinations you choose from the iOS share sheet, such as Files, Mail, cloud storage, printers, AirDrop, or other installed apps.
The App does not provide a public gallery, comments, messaging, or user-to-user sharing service in the current implementation.
3. Prohibited content and use
You agree not to use the App to create, process, store, export, or distribute content that:
- violates applicable law or promotes illegal activity;
- infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any person or organization;
- contains another person's private or sensitive information without permission;
- is harassing, hateful, discriminatory, violent, sexually exploitative, or otherwise violates App Store standards;
- contains malware instructions, unauthorized credentials, or material intended to compromise systems or accounts;
- misrepresents authorship, ownership, affiliation, or permission to use an image or pattern.
4. Copyright and craft patterns
Photos, characters, logos, artworks, and existing craft patterns may be protected by intellectual property laws. Converting an image into a bead pattern does not automatically give you permission to reproduce, sell, distribute, or publicly share that image or derived pattern. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions.
5. No routine review of private projects
Because projects are stored locally and the App does not operate a public content service, we do not routinely review your private projects. If exported content is shared through a third-party service, that service may apply its own rules and moderation practices.
6. Enforcement
We may take action if we become aware of use that violates these rules, our Terms, Apple requirements, or applicable law. Action may include refusing support, requesting removal of infringing material from public locations we control, or cooperating with lawful requests.
7. Safety and craft responsibility
The App provides digital planning information only. You are responsible for safe use of physical craft supplies, heat tools, pegboards, beads, printers, and other materials. Supervise children and follow manufacturer instructions for craft products.
8. Changes
We may update this Content Policy to reflect product or legal changes. The effective date above indicates the latest version.
9. Contact
Questions about this policy may be sent to BeadCraft Local Team at luoyi9932@gmail.com. You may also use App Store support channels where available.
