Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BeadCraft Local (the "App") provided by BeadCraft Local Team ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Apple as distributor
These Terms are between you and BeadCraft Local Team, not Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
2. License
Subject to these Terms and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA), we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by Apple's Usage Rules.
3. App purpose
The App helps you convert selected photos into bead pattern grids, material lists, progress views, and printable PDF plans. It is a craft planning tool. You are responsible for reviewing generated results before purchasing materials, printing plans, or starting a project.
4. Your photos and projects
You retain ownership of photos, projects, generated patterns, and exported files that you create or import. You represent that you have all rights necessary to import, process, save, export, and share your photos and related content. Additional content rules are described in our User Content & Acceptable Use Policy (content.html).
5. BeadCraft Pro non-consumable purchase
The App may offer a non-consumable in-app purchase called BeadCraft Pro, currently using product identifier beadcraftlocal.pro.lifetime. Pro may unlock features such as larger boards, printable PDF export, and unlimited local projects. Purchases, payment confirmation, taxes, refund handling, family sharing availability, and restore behavior are handled by Apple through StoreKit and your Apple account. We do not receive or store your full payment card information.
6. Local data and backups
Saved projects and source images are stored locally in the App's container on your device. Deleting the App, resetting your device, or losing access to the device may remove local project data. You are responsible for exporting or backing up files you want to keep.
7. Generated output and material accuracy
Bead colors, counts, board layouts, material lists, and PDF patterns are generated algorithmically from image data and built-in palette information. They may not exactly match real-world materials, lighting conditions, manufacturer changes, availability, or final handmade results. The App does not guarantee that a generated plan will be suitable for every craft project.
8. Exporting and sharing
When you export or share a PDF or other file, you choose the destination. Third-party apps, cloud services, printers, or recipients may handle the exported file according to their own terms and privacy practices. You are responsible for ensuring that your sharing choices are lawful and appropriate.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, including by using it to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, process unlawful content, bypass paid features, interfere with security features, reverse engineer the App except where permitted by law, or use the App in violation of applicable law or Apple rules.
10. Updates and changes
We may release updates that add, change, or remove features. We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above indicates the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms unless applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SUITABLE FOR EVERY CRAFT PROJECT.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, MATERIALS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US$1. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS, LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your content, your misuse of the App, or your violation of these Terms, applicable law, or third-party rights, except to the extent prohibited by law.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
15. Governing law
Unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the developer entity identified on the App Store, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy (privacy.html).
