Privacy Policy

Effective date: · App: BeadCraft Local · Bundle ID: com.luoyi.beadcraftlocal

This Privacy Policy explains how BeadCraft Local Team ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the iOS application BeadCraft Local (the "App"). This policy is written for the App Store version of the App.

1. Summary

BeadCraft Local is designed as a local-first bead pattern generator. Based on the current App implementation, the App does not require an account, does not operate a developer backend for photo or project storage, does not show ads, and does not use advertising identifiers, ad attribution features, or cross-app tracking. Photos and saved bead projects are processed and stored on your device. The App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand product usage, purchase-flow performance, reliability, and crash diagnostics.

2. Information processed on your device

The App processes information you choose to provide so it can generate, edit, save, and export bead patterns:

Saved projects are stored in the App's local container using Apple on-device storage. Source images for saved projects are stored locally in the App's Application Support area.

3. Photos and photo library access

The App requests photo library access so you can choose images to convert into bead patterns. The App reads only the photos you select for pattern generation. The App's current implementation does not upload selected photos, generated patterns, saved project files, or exported PDFs to our servers.

4. Purchases through Apple StoreKit

The App uses Apple StoreKit to load product information, process the non-consumable BeadCraft Pro purchase, observe transaction updates, and restore purchase entitlements. The current product identifier is beadcraftlocal.pro.lifetime. Payment, purchase history, refunds, family sharing availability, and transaction processing are handled by Apple under Apple's terms and privacy policy. The App uses Apple's entitlement result only to unlock Pro features such as larger boards, printable PDF export, and unlimited local projects.

5. Analytics and crash diagnostics

The App uses Firebase Analytics to log limited product interaction events, such as app opens, photo import starts, pattern generation results, palette and board-size choices, Pro feature gates, paywall exposure, StoreKit product loading, purchase or restore flow status, and PDF export success. These events are used to improve the App, evaluate whether Pro features are useful, and diagnose conversion or reliability problems.

The App uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and related diagnostic data, such as app version, build number, device or operating system diagnostics, language setting, Pro entitlement state, and the last broad screen name. Crashlytics helps us find and fix stability issues.

The App does not send selected photo contents, generated bead grids, saved project files, exported PDF files, project names, local file names, file paths, raw error text, contact information, or precise location to Firebase Analytics through the App's analytics events.

6. Sharing and export

When you export a PDF, the App creates a temporary file and presents the iOS share sheet. Destinations such as Files, Mail, printers, AirDrop, cloud storage, or third-party apps are provided by iOS and the services installed on your device. Your choice of destination is controlled by you and may be subject to the privacy practices of Apple or the selected third-party service.

7. Information we do not collect through developer-operated systems

For the current version of the App, we do not collect the following through our own servers:

Apple may provide developers with App Store analytics, purchase reporting, and crash diagnostics through Apple's own systems, subject to Apple's policies and your device settings.

8. Data retention and deletion

Local projects remain on your device until you delete them in the App, remove the App, or otherwise erase device data. Uninstalling the App may remove locally stored App data, subject to iOS behavior and backups. Files you export or share outside the App must be deleted separately from the destination where you saved or sent them.

9. Children

The App is a general craft utility and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in your region. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through developer-operated servers. Parents or guardians should supervise the photos and files children choose to process on a shared device.

10. Security

Because the App is designed for local processing, your device security is important. We rely on Apple platform protections and standard iOS storage controls. No method of electronic storage is perfectly secure, so you should protect your device with a passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and current system updates.

11. International users and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information that we control. Because core App data is stored locally, many controls are available directly on your device by deleting projects, exported files, or the App itself. For privacy requests directed to us, contact us using the email below.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, Apple platform requirements, or applicable law. Updates will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
