Content Policy
This Content Policy explains expectations for progress photos, project names, comparison exports, and other material you create, save, or share with Progress Camera.
No public feed. Progress Camera is a private utility. The App does not provide a public social feed or developer-operated publishing platform. If you export or share a comparison image, you are responsible for that sharing.
1. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for the content you capture, save, organize, export, or share. You should only save content when you have the rights, consent, and permissions needed to do so.
2. Prohibited Content and Uses
- Illegal content or content used to facilitate illegal activity.
- Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, trade secrets, or other rights.
- Non-consensual intimate, sexual, private, or exploitative material.
- Harassment, threats, hate, abuse, doxxing, stalking, or content intended to harm others.
- Content involving minors in sexual, exploitative, abusive, or unsafe contexts.
- Instructions or organization of serious physical harm, self-harm, weapon misuse, fraud, or evasion of law enforcement.
- Content used to impersonate another person or misrepresent progress, condition, identity, or consent.
3. Sensitive Photos
Progress photos can include sensitive personal information such as body shape, skin condition, hair changes, medical appearance, fitness progress, private spaces, or identifying details. Avoid capturing or sharing sensitive information unless you have a lawful reason and all required consent.
4. Comparisons and Reports
Consistency reports and before-and-after comparisons are convenience features. They may be inaccurate and should not be treated as medical, health, fitness, dermatology, diagnostic, or professional advice. Review important changes manually and consult qualified professionals when needed.
5. Sharing and Exports
When you save an export to Photos or share through the iOS share sheet, the destination app, service, or recipient may process that content under its own policies. You are responsible for choosing appropriate recipients and reviewing exported content before sending it.
6. Enforcement
Because the App is local-first and does not host a public feed, we generally do not review your private on-device content. We may update the App, policies, or App Store listing if we become aware of misuse, legal requirements, or safety risks.
7. Related Policies
This Content Policy is part of the App's legal terms. Please also review the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
