Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Screenshot Stitcher ScrollShot (the "App") provided by Screenshot Stitcher ScrollShot Team ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Apple App Store Terms
The App is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple is not responsible for the App, its content, maintenance, or support, except as required by Apple's applicable rules. These Terms are between you and us, not Apple.
2. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple's Usage Rules and the App Store terms.
3. Apple Standard EULA
Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA"), unless a separate custom EULA is provided for the App. If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA about your licensed use of the App, the Standard EULA controls to the extent required by Apple.
4. App Functionality
The App helps you import screenshots or screen recordings, generate long screenshots, edit sensitive areas with brush or mosaic tools, add optional watermarks, export results as supported file formats, share exported files, and save generated images to Photos when you choose. Some features may require Photos permissions, local storage, a ReplayKit broadcast extension, or a Pro entitlement.
5. Subscriptions and Paid Features
The App may offer monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions and a lifetime purchase for Pro features. Purchases are billed through your Apple ID by Apple. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends, according to Apple's rules and the subscription you selected.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings. Refunds, billing issues, family sharing availability, price changes, and payment disputes are handled according to Apple's App Store policies and applicable law. Restoring purchases in the App asks Apple to sync your StoreKit entitlements.
6. Your Content and Responsibilities
You are responsible for the screenshots, recordings, images, text, watermarks, and other content you import, edit, export, save, or share through the App. You must have the rights and permissions needed to use that content. Do not use the App to create, store, or distribute unlawful, infringing, harmful, or abusive content. Additional expectations are described in the Content Policy.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in connection with the App, including Photos access, local processing, recording storage, purchase entitlement checks, and local history.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, software, design, branding, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the App to you. You retain the rights you already have in your own imported content and exported results, subject to third-party rights and applicable law.
9. Restrictions
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, distribute, sell, rent, or sublicense the App except where applicable law prohibits such restrictions. You also agree not to interfere with App security, misuse Apple services, bypass entitlement checks, or use the App in a way that violates law or third-party rights.
10. No Professional Advice
The App provides media processing and editing tools. It does not provide legal, privacy, security, compliance, or professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing exported images before publication or sharing, especially when they may contain personal, confidential, copyrighted, or regulated information.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or error-free performance.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, content, business, goodwill, or device functionality arising from or related to the App. Our total liability for claims related to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the App or in-app purchases during the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100, except where the law requires otherwise.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you materially breach these Terms or use the App unlawfully. You may stop using the App at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute provisions.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms, where permitted by law.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or region require otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you cannot waive under applicable law.
