Content Policy
Effective date: June 29, 2026
Operator: Beauty Expiry Team
Scope
This policy explains standards for content you create, store, copy, export, or share using Beauty Expiry Tracker, including product names, brand names, categories, dates, notes, photos, CSV files, and JSON backup content.
Private, Local Content
Beauty Expiry Tracker is a private utility app. It does not provide a public social feed, public profile, messaging network, or marketplace. Content is stored locally on your device unless you choose to copy, export, back up, restore, or share it.
Prohibited Content and Uses
You may not use the app to create, store, export, copy, or distribute content that:
- Violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Infringes intellectual property, publicity, privacy, or other rights.
- Contains child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation content, or content involving non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Promotes violence, terrorism, credible threats, harassment, or serious harm.
- Contains malware, fraud schemes, deceptive content, or attempts to misuse exports or backups.
- Misrepresents product safety, medical claims, or regulatory approvals in a way that could cause harm.
Photos and Product Records
If you add product photos or written notes, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use and share that content. Avoid including sensitive personal information, private images, or information about other people unless you have a lawful reason and appropriate permission.
Exports and Backups
CSV and JSON exports may include product names, brands, categories, dates, PAO values, notes, and other shelf information. Once exported, copied, pasted, uploaded, messaged, emailed, or saved outside the app, that content may no longer be protected by the app's local storage model. Review exports before sharing them.
Health and Safety Responsibility
Do not rely on app content as a substitute for product labels, manufacturer instructions, professional medical advice, dermatological advice, or your own inspection of product condition. If a product appears spoiled, contaminated, irritating, unsafe, or inconsistent with its label, stop using it and consult an appropriate professional or the manufacturer.
No Public Moderation Workflow
Because the app does not host a public content service, Beauty Expiry Team generally cannot review or moderate local content stored only on your device. We may restrict use of the app or respond to reports if required by law, Apple policy, or a platform safety obligation.
