Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 23, 2026
Operator: Beauty Expiry Team
App: Beauty Expiry Tracker
Bundle identifier: com.ly.find.beautyexpiry.tool
Overview
Beauty Expiry Tracker helps you keep a private shelf of beauty, skincare, makeup, fragrance, haircare, body, and other personal care products. The app is designed to store your shelf data locally on your device and does not require account registration.
Data We Process
The app may process the following information on your device when you choose to enter or add it:
- Product records, including product name, brand, category, status, purchase date, opened date, expiry date, period-after-opening months, notes, creation date, and update date.
- Product photos you select from your photo library.
- Calculated expiry status, such as whether a product is expired or expiring soon.
- CSV and JSON export content that you explicitly generate or copy.
- Local Premium entitlement state read through Apple StoreKit.
- Language preference and other app preferences stored locally by iOS.
Photos
The app uses photo library access only when you choose a product photo. Selected images are compressed and saved as part of your local shelf record. Beauty Expiry Team does not receive your photo library or product photos.
Local Storage
Your product shelf is saved locally on your device using iOS storage. Your data remains on your device unless you choose to export, copy, share, back up, restore, or otherwise transmit it through Apple system features or other apps.
Exports, Clipboard, and Sharing
The app may let you export or copy shelf data in CSV or JSON format. When you copy, paste, share, save, email, message, or upload exported content outside the app, that destination is controlled by you and may be subject to the privacy practices of the receiving app, service, or person.
Purchases and StoreKit
Beauty Expiry Tracker may offer a one-time Premium unlock through Apple StoreKit using product identifier premium_lifetime_v1. Payment processing, purchase history, refunds, and payment account data are handled by Apple. Beauty Expiry Team does not collect or store your payment card details. The app reads StoreKit transaction entitlement status only to unlock paid features.
Analytics and Crash Diagnostics
Beauty Expiry Tracker uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand feature usage, improve reliability, and diagnose crashes. These services may process:
- App interaction events, such as app opens, product creation or editing, Premium limit and paywall views, and backup export or restore outcomes.
- Purchase-flow status, such as product availability, purchase or restore start, success, cancellation, pending, or failure, together with the App Store product identifier and entitlement state.
- App version, device model, operating-system information, app-instance or device-scoped identifiers, crash stack traces, and related diagnostic state.
Analytics events use bounded categories and status values. We do not send product names, brand names, notes, product photos, backup file names or contents, local file paths, or raw error messages to Firebase. We do not set a Firebase user ID, and the app does not require a Beauty Expiry account.
No Advertising or Cross-App Tracking
Firebase data is used for product analytics, app functionality, reliability, and crash diagnostics. We do not use it for third-party advertising, sell it, or combine it with data from other companies for tracking across apps or websites. The app does not request access to the advertising identifier for these purposes.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your shelf records, notes, photos, exports, or product history with third parties by default. Limited analytics and diagnostic data is processed by Google Firebase as described above. Other data leaves your device only when you choose to share, export, copy, back up, or transmit it, or when Apple processes purchase-related information through StoreKit and App Store services.
Third-Party Services
Google processes Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data under its applicable terms and privacy documentation. Apple processes App Store purchases and related transaction information under Apple's policies. These providers may retain diagnostic and analytics information according to their own service settings and retention rules.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your local shelf data remains on your device until you edit or delete product records, import replacement data, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Deleting the app generally removes local app data from the device, subject to iOS behavior and any device or iCloud backups you manage. Firebase analytics and crash data is retained according to the Firebase project settings and Google's applicable retention controls.
Product Safety and Health Information
Beauty Expiry Tracker is a personal organization tool. Expiry dates and reminders are calculated from the information you enter and do not constitute medical, dermatological, cosmetic safety, or product quality advice. You remain responsible for checking texture, scent, color, packaging, storage conditions, labels, and professional guidance before using any product.
Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data in a way that requires action, contact us.
International Use
If you are in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, you may contact us for assistance. Because the app is designed for local on-device storage, many privacy actions can be performed directly by editing, exporting, or deleting data on your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates will be reflected by changing the effective date.
