Terms of Use
Effective date: July 15, 2026
Provider: Home Inventory Team
App: Home Inventory (com.ly.HomeInventory.tool)
Acceptance
By downloading or using Home Inventory, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, lawful purposes on Apple-branded devices you own or control, subject to the App Store terms.
App Functionality
Home Inventory helps you manage moving boxes and item records, including photos, QR labels, optional CSV/PDF exports, and optional sharing of non-sensitive inventory through Apple's CloudKit.
Shared Inventory
If you enable Shared Inventory, you authorize the app to create or join a private CloudKit share through your iCloud account. Owners control invitations and may stop sharing. Participants may view or edit shared non-sensitive records according to Apple's sharing controls. Changes made by participants may synchronize to other participants, so you should invite only people you trust and maintain your own exports or backups where appropriate.
Sensitive Boxes and Device Authentication
Sensitive Box is an optional access-control feature that uses iOS device authentication, such as Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode, before protected box contents are shown in the app. It is designed to reduce casual access inside the app.
Sensitive Box is not a substitute for securing your device, using a strong device passcode, managing device backups, or carefully handling exported and shared files. Content may no longer be protected by the in-app Sensitive Box prompt after you export, back up, print, save, screenshot, or share it outside the app.
Purchases and Paid Features
Home Inventory offers Pro as a one-time, non-consumable Apple In-App Purchase through StoreKit. Pro may include expanded capacity, sharing, QR labels, and CSV/PDF exports.
- Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase.
- This product does not automatically renew. Availability, pricing, refunds, and restoration are handled under Apple's App Store rules.
- You may use Restore Purchases in the app to ask StoreKit to restore an eligible entitlement associated with your Apple account.
- We do not collect or store your payment card details.
- Apple's Standard EULA applies unless other terms are presented in App Store Connect: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you create, store, export, or share using the app. You agree not to use the app for unlawful, harmful, or infringing purposes.
Privacy
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Content Policy.
Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms periodically.
Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Home Inventory Team is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or business arising from your use of the app.
Termination
These Terms remain effective until terminated. You may terminate by uninstalling the app. We may terminate or suspend access if required by law or for violations of these Terms.
