FIELD GUIDE · UPDATED SEPTEMBER 29, 2026

Stop retyping your details

Keep contact details, signatures and hashtag sets ready to insert.

The short answer

Save frequently reused text as separate, clearly named snippets: your email, a full web link, a postal address or a signature. Insert the right item from a supported iPhone text field. For just a couple of memorized shortcuts, built-in Text Replacement may already fit.

Your information is familiar. Finding it still takes effort.

A form needs your email. A contact asks for your portfolio. A message needs your usual sign-off. The text has not changed, but copying it from another place or typing it carefully takes you away from what you were writing.

A small saved-text library brings those repeat items together. Choose descriptive names such as Work email, Portfolio link and Short signature, so you can browse them instead of remembering an abbreviation.

What is worth saving?

Build a library you can actually find things in

  1. Save one distinct item per snippet in the main app.
  2. Choose titles that explain the intended use.
  3. Enable the keyboard in iOS Settings and switch with the globe key in a supported text field.
  4. Tap to insert the item, then check the text before submitting.
  5. Update the original snippet whenever your details change.

Free supports 3 snippets and 1 category. Pro unlocks unlimited snippets and categories, so separate work and personal groups are an optional upgrade rather than a free feature.

Fixed details inside a larger template

With Pro, configure fixed information in Settings → Template Details and insert matching fields in a template. A recurring message can then reuse your configured name or signature alongside selectable options. The keyboard shows a preview before you insert the template.

Privacy and practical limits

Saved text stays on this device; no account or Full Access is required. There is no automatic cloud sync or clipboard-history recovery. Pro JSON exports include template details and saved text, so keep exported files safe. Optional device authentication controls interface access and does not encrypt the stored data.

Custom keyboards are unavailable in password fields and some apps. This is a plain-text workflow; full URLs can be saved, but rich formatting is not the aim.

Real uses behind these examples

A public iOS user discussion includes repeated email addresses, website links, multiple hashtag sets and signatures. These are independent examples of reuse needs, not testimonials for this app. For shortcut-based insertion, see Text Replacement versus a snippet keyboard.
