This Privacy Policy explains how Watermark Eraser AI Team ("we", "us") handles information when you use Watermark Eraser AI (the "App").
The App is designed for on-device photo and video editing. Watermark removal, background removal, date-text recognition, previews, and export preparation are performed locally on your device using local image processing, Apple Vision, and on-device ML models when available. We do not operate a backend that uploads your selected photos, videos, masks, or recognized text for these editing features.
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand feature use and improve the App, and Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes, reliability problems, and selected non-fatal errors. Depending on how you use the App, these services may process:
Our analytics wrapper is designed not to send selected photo or video contents, filenames, brush strokes, recognized text, transaction identifiers, names, email addresses, or raw error messages. Firebase may generate automatic lifecycle events and diagnostic breadcrumbs as part of the enabled SDKs.
We use analytics and diagnostic data to measure product performance, understand feature and purchase funnels, improve reliability, troubleshoot errors, and plan improvements. Google acts as our Firebase service provider and processes this data according to its applicable terms and privacy documentation. We do not use this data for third-party advertising, sell it to data brokers, or use it to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. Advertising-personalization signals are disabled in the App.
The App does not require account registration. We do not set a Firebase user ID and do not intentionally send information that directly identifies you. Photos, videos, recognized text, and editing masks processed only on your device are not collected by us through Firebase.
The App offers monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions and may offer a lifetime purchase for Pro features. Billing and payment are processed by Apple through your App Store account. We do not receive your full payment card number. The App uses StoreKit transaction and entitlement status locally to unlock and restore Pro features, while limited purchase-flow status described above may be sent to Firebase for analytics and diagnostics.
You can control photo-library access in iOS Settings, choose which media to import, decide whether to save or share an edited result, and manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings. The current App version does not provide an account-based analytics dashboard or a separate in-app Firebase opt-out control.
Your source media and editing data remain on your device under your control. You can delete exported media from Photos and remove the App to clear app-local data, subject to iOS behavior. Firebase retains analytics and diagnostic data according to our Firebase configuration and Google's applicable retention practices. Because the App has no account system and does not set a Firebase user ID, we may not be able to associate Firebase records with a specific individual. You may contact us with privacy questions or requests.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, but no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by local law). If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact us and we will review the request.
Firebase data may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Depending on your region, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, objection, or restriction of personal information. Contact us to submit a request. We will respond as required by applicable law, subject to our ability to identify the relevant records.
We may update this policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
